The Scrubs finale was great. It seems like you can tell when a show's creators have some sense of what the show means to fans, and try to cater to that in a certain degree. The Shield finale reflects the overall strength of that show; the ending of BSG was weak because lets be honest they had lost their way well

Sooooooo………Doc was the ladies man? With his glasses, slight paunch, and balding head? Really? We're all buying that?

I think Thompson was a pol before he was an actor. I could be wrong……….

I have been on quite an end of the world book kick recently. I tend to enjoy the backstory more than the actual end result. I like to see socity struggle, and the small victories in the midst of the fall.

The book was better than the movie, and did a great job with the backstory.

Speaking of Gift Shop girl, here is a general discussion question(Hope it hasnt been covered before): Who is JD's best non Elliot girlfriend? I vote for either Tasty Coma Wife or Mandy Moore. (We could also do Elliots boyfriends too I guess.)

Loechner gets a life time pass for "Anchorman." Whammy!

First, Ted Knight always makes me laugh, even when he shouldnt. That look in the opening credits when he falls off the back of the couch is priceless.

Sam Neill is the shit!

The opening sequence of Lord of the Rings managed to somewhat capture the epic, mythic feel of Tolkien. The rest….did not.

I remember Bob Weiss when he coached the Hawks……..he got Dominque Wilkins to play some team ball for once.

SIRTIS! I'm going miss all this. Somehow Deep Space Nine wont be the same……..

Sirtis? You need to come and post so we may praise your long work as well!

The Alastair Sim version makes all others pale to me, though I did enjoy the Patrick Stewart take. One scene that give me chills in the Sim one is when the Ghost of Christmas Present reveals the representations of Ignorance and Want. So awful. ("Fear the boy most of all.") Don't great stories last because they tell

Any thoughts on That Which shall not be named?

FRAKES! What else can be said? God bless us everyone!

Ooooo I agree. "The puppet has no strings."

Great article. Like that Dragnet story from yesterday, sometimes something can be so square and corny that it can break through with its sincerity.

FRAKES? SIRTIS?

How about talking about our favorite moments from the show?
