I wanted to grade these episodes, but grading episodes one and two together is impossible for me.  I actually liked episode one.  I hated episode two.  The George ones were really bad to me. Guess I will try to average them.  I hope for future episodes, AV Club separates the reviews individually?

I did enjoy Kristen Wiig as young Lucille very much.  She nailed the character.  Here's hoping she gets an Emmy nomination out of it.  I couldn't stand Seth Rogen as young George.  They could not have possibly cast an actor less like Jeffrey Tambor than Seth Rogen.  Plus I've always pictured young George as being

A Costco flat of juice boxes?  Sounds like your Arrested Development party is going to be off the hook!

It probably has to do with how many people at that time in America were the descendants of German immigrants.  The late 1800s had an explosion of Germans coming to this country with hopes of settling the Midwest having heard misguided promises of fertile land and mild weather conditions.  I imagine even Roger Sterling

It's interesting you brought up Red in the Face, I was thinking of that exact episode when I watched Mad Men last night.  There really were a lot of similarities.

Now I feel like I might have been out of line in my comment that I made too.  I read the first half of the article, said to myself, "No," and then skimmed the second half, so I might have missed the entire point.

But if you tried to turn The Mindy Project into Louie, then wouldn't it just become Girls?

I'll be the odd man out and admit I liked the episode, and yeah, it was probably because of the trivia-ness aspect of the episode.  I put it on par with a bad episode of season 3.  This was probably the only episode of season 4 that I actually liked.  And I wondered if some of the chemistry was back because Chevy was

Favorite episode: Epidemiology.

This movie sounds like a real upper.

Thanks for the coffee drinking quip.  That made me laugh pretty hard.  I live near Salt Lake, grew up Mormon and I'm pretty pissed about this.  I don't even watch Hannibal, but I'm getting really angry at how casually KSL is censoring programs.  When you're refusing to air three programs a week, I think that means it

Sadly, I think this was the episode that made the show truly die for me. They had mishandled the Britta/Troy relationship from the beginning, which upset me because I was actually excited by the concept of them together.  And I had high hopes it would get better, but instead they had them break instead, which made me

You lost me at "homeschooling", Zach Braff.  Wait, no…you lost me at please give me money.  I've got my own problems, Zach Braff, like figuring out how to eat and keep my electricity turned on.  I think when this movie comes out, I shall pirate the hell out of it, just for spite.

I was wondering if the cinematography would still look the same.  Looks like it will.  I just love the look of the show.  I went and re-watched it last week, and then I had to go back and watch it over again this week.  I hadn't seen the show in probably a good 5 years at least, but it was so much funnier than I

I thought so too.  She looks way different on the EW cover as well.  Not sure what's going on there.  Nose job?  Botox?  Facelift?  For some reason I was thinking George Michael would look older as Michael Cera has aged, but he still looks exactly like teenage George Michael.  It must be the costume.

If Game of Thrones and The Borgias has taught me anything, it's that it's a real curse to have a super hot brother in life.  Or I guess a jailbait sister.  I saw episode 3 on Xfinity's website, and may I just say…geez louise.

I think they've decided, "Well, if it works for Game of Thrones…"

Dear Lord, that was Ted McGinley?  Wow.

Most of the time I find this show to be more than a bit juvenile, and it's definitely something I hate watch.  But Robert Carlyle freaking saves the whole thing for me. He is the only reason I keep watching.  Though maybe I should go watch The Full Monty instead and get my Carlyle fix that way.  And I really have to

I feel extremely dirty saying this, but I kind of want Jamie and Brienne to hook up.  I'd also like to personally get to know Podrick a little better.
