Comment win.

"This wouldn't have happened if only we had made legislation requiring every head of household to own a bomb."—Most likely said by half the people who live in my red state.

It's sort of true, isn't it?  Work is the only time I ever get on the AV Club.  I did not realize that until I just read your comment.

My pop culture weekend has been spent watching reruns of Arrested Development until the laptop screen gave me a migraine.  I like this discussion of pop culture things we avoid though.  I do avoid most of the things mentioned, like Twilight and reality shows.  But I confess to hate watching Downton Abbey, and hate

I missed the conversation on heart transplants in the show, but that's interesting because the first heart transplant is about to happen pretty soon in our new year of 1968.  Weiner always finds such interesting little subtle ways to get those references to famous world events in.  If you blink, you miss it.

My favorite line was one of Sheila's: "I encourage you to get as many as you want for your home, car, and travel needs."  (I probably didn't quote that verbatim.)

I really wish they had not reminded us of the fact that Carl likes to torture and/or mutilate and/or kill people's pets.  It's always been the one facet of the show that I've never been able to make myself not feel horrified by.  It makes my skin crawl.  It's just so serial killer in training-ish.
Not a bad finale at

This was my favorite episode of the show ever.  Plus, Tom Everett Scott!!  [Swoon].

David Milch used to have a saying about the Sheriff Bullock and Al Swearangen characters on Deadwood.  He said they were two sides of the same coin.  I think that also applies perfectly to Boyd and Raylan.

Thank you for creating the newbies review version of GOT, AV Club.  I love that I have a safe place to come where I won't get spoilers.  :)  Have you guys created something like that for The Walking Dead?  Because those comic book readers…ugh.  I have had so many deaths on that show get spoiled!

I didn't reach this point with Sunny until the start of the 5th season.  I think the 4th season was their peak, and it's my favorite out of all of them.  There isn't an episode in that season I dislike.  Well, except for Who pooped the bed?  That one just horrified me.  I think The Nightman Cometh was the last truly

One comment about this article.  The writers didn't forget about the liver cancer thing.  In that same episode where he says that, he admits later to Boyd that he lied about the liver cancer so the cops who were trying to frame him would see him as someone who could do something crazy because he truly had nothing to

I'm not sure what to grade this as.  I actually am someone who really, really used to love watching Clue, and there were some truly stupendous moments that made me have nerdgasms all over the place, but there were some things that also let me down.  No Yvette?  Seriously, no Tim Curry or Michael McKean?  No 50s music?

Totally missing Butch Lady Knight and Psycho Ginger Witch.

Yes.  I would love to see Nigel St. Nigel do Clue.  That would be really awesome.

Jeffrey Tambor is like Kyle MacLachlan.  They both just make everything they're in better.

I didn't have a problem with the Karen/Jody oral sex thing because I saw it coming a mile away.  If it had been unexpected to me, maybe I would have had a problem with it?  Or maybe if I liked Karen I would have had a problem with it?  Who can say.  It's hard for me to feel sympathy for anything that happens to Karen

DENTAL PLAN!

I was kind of disturbed by Glenn breaking off a zombie's finger to steal a wedding ring for Maggie.  It was a little messed up and completely stole away what could have been a sweet proposal scene.  The walking dead are…well, they're dead!  If you saw a hero in any other show or movie robbing someone's grave and

It was a fantastic episode.  Johnny kind of broke my heart in this episode, and I wasn't expecting that.  Good work on that actor's part.  Patton Oswalt was balls-out awesome.  He doesn't get the chance to show off those dramatic acting chops very often, but when he does, he shines at it.  I don't think I'm ever going
