I hear you. As a longtime King reader, one of the mini-games I've played is spotting the king tropes - some of the doofy lines are classic King attempt to mine dark humor from cornpone phrasing - ever-hopeful the juxtaposition jars us. But even in those cases, we should've had some childhood flashback driving her or

I've loved the comments on here. I really have. I usually read the review and comments before I watch the episode because it enriches my hate watching. But this time I went in clean as a finale hate-treat. The 'politician' comment and Linda and the gallows did not disappoint. Every character except Big Jim is dumb and

Oh, you discovered a mini-dome in the middle of the woods that's at the center of this? Cool, take me to it and don't mention to anyone where we're going.

Oh, it's glowing and it didn't before and maybe something weird happened when you touched it? Cool, let me do that.

Oh, weird I saw a vision when I touched it. Ok,

For some reason, I can't reply to your comment below. Just wanted to say thanks. I can only blame a lack of sleep as to how I forgot that this phrase was what Mother referenced to deliver on her earlier 'wordplay' setup. I for some reason thought you were using a random example, which is pretty damn dumb of me.

Forgive me, but could you explain how "above the law" is a double-entendre? I've always considered it an idiom.
A family guy scene comes to mind:
Quagmire (dragging out an unconscious female boxer): I like watching her box
Peter: That means TWO things.

a bomb? come on, really? lol! stephen king's influence shows. No way any politician authorizes that, at least not without some imminent threat for cover, like a second dome or the dome is expanding or the dome is giving off radiation and, and vampiressomething before a 'mother of all bombs'!

disclaimer: I have not seen this episode as I'm trying to decide if I'm committing for the season or cutting bait.

I have a theory about the Lich - more of a random supposition, actually.

Interesting. Possible. That would mean that her inability to retain memories is a smokescreen or she's only intended to be there for a very short period OR she is meeting up with Stanton.

You just reminded me of the exercise I was doing on the subject.

I wanted even more emotion from Rachel's rejection of Nina as a friend. She was sexually assaulted and it was worse because Nina exploited her knowledge of Rachel to make it an even more intimate violation, both physically and emotionally and morally. I don't mean that as a homophobic statement. If Rachel were gay or

Even funnier because she listed taste as her last(!) criteria. As opposed to the other judges who thought the food ought to taste good.

Great point, I somehow blanked on those. Those are examples of what I mean and I'm glad to see it. One, it saves money and two, it gives more chance for character development.  your point about the pushers, I hadn't thought about that and it makes sense.

yes his parkour is a cheap way to get action.

Well … not caring about it, that's one thing. Not mentioning it at all given that you're reviewing the episode seems (i apologize if this seems like a strong word to use) irresponsible.

I think he was an all-around less condescending, arrogant face this episode. I'd like to see him keep some of that prickly demeanor but one black agent douche-spraying the room is enough.
