There's a bit where the protagonist goes "Here's a song I wrote about you" while holding an acoustic guitar next to the Hollywood sign. He then proceeds to sing the opening lines of Don't Stop Believing.

I'm a teenage wannabe writer called Charlie. I therefore haven't read this book. I'm really self-obsessed and I worry that if I see my life as being so generic it could be covered in a popular book my personality might collapse in on itself.

I rewatched the whole series so far today and realised that there's literally no point where I've found Marnie likeable. I don't know, maybe I just relate to Charlie, but she seems to act like the worst person in every situation. But everyone else is pretty great. Especially Shosh.
