Bummed to lose Wolverine and the X-Men. It was great to read a book that seemed to recognize the X-Men could be inherently ridiculous and often felt more about the humor or personalities than the latest Big Evil Plot.
There's a great sense of "What's Otto going to think of next?" that keeps things moving. He's gone from merely being more proactive to trying to build his own Spider-empire.
Perhaps THAT'S the secret…
While I don't have a lot of sympathy for GRIND… what do you do when you do lay your cards out on the table what you want (and it's not demanding), and she still won't play ball?
Superior Foes of Spider-Man has been *fantastic*.
I look forward to THAT show's spinoff, "Huell's the Boss?"
I am hoping so hard for the same thing.
So much faffing about. At least Angel and Faith has been pretty consistently strong.
Gah. I'd really love to watch this, but I worry if I do, I'm going to end up punching a wall.
*hugs*
I probably would not have seen the show if it weren't for Noel's reviews. They were smart and insightful and well-written and made the show seem like a joy to watch.

I heartily concur. The 6th episode does such a good job playing with expectations, I was honestly a bit blown away by the twist, and that's when I knew Dollhouse could be, at its best, just as good as other Whedon shows. Alan Tudyk helped cement that, to the point where I cheered any time his character appeared.
I would watch the shit out of any show starring him.

I'm mailing a dead animal to Lily.
@avclub-c1fe85b855c6d045b827f74a1e2c3fd7:disqus Not to mention that storyline figuring out a way to have the Sam Weiss stuff make some sense. That really was a masterwork of tying all the loose ends on the show (at the time) together.
The writers won't get the Nobel Prize, but they sure got the (John) Noble Prize, of…
