The Bunk returns! Beyond thrilled to see Wendell Pierce playing Rachel's dad. That should be loads of fun.

So Carrie believed Brody based on what exactly? His ridiculous explanation that it was an Abu Nazir plot? So that was enough to decide against killing him and instead decide to transport him over the border? Sorry guys, I'm done with this show.

You make a good point, and it makes me wonder what Todd is saying in his review. I thought the dialogue was so hokey and cliched, thus making the character interactions some of the most painful parts to watch now. That conversation between Nazir and Carrie was awful.

I would like to see someone try to defend this train wreck. The show is so implausible, and yet still likes to pretend it's a cool, clever series. There's just no way to justify a B+ here.

Great point about the C4. To me, the fake SWAT raid on the shop was probably the most fantastical scene on the show. I hope the payoff from that is more than what we saw in this episode.

Wow I totally miss Rubicon - great show with tremendous potential. But The Killing definitely had better ratings (debut of 2.72 million to debut of 1.07 million, and consistently higher throughout first season).
So I as well am dropping this show after that terrible episode. Trying to pick the worst thing from this episode, I'd take Kadinsky as the world's worst killer. Seriously, what is the point in dressing up as a waiter if you are going to shoot your target in front of 100 people?

Your first point is the most bothersome to me. Why is the crew not even MENTIONING the fact that a nuclear was started? Why aren't they discussing the decision not to fire? Why can't Chaplin just get the president on the phone and a) attack/question him for ordering an unprovoked nuclear attack or b) ask why a rogue…

Agreed the dialogue is terrible, but the over plot is so stale at this point I'm amazed. Has there been more than a 15 second discussion on the fact that Pakistan was supposedly nuked as preemptive measure? Why can't Marcus get the president on the phone and ask if he was really supposed to shoot those nukes, or why…

Really unnecessary info there, thanks.

The whole Qarth arc seems to have a number of plot holes in it. How does this supposedly rich and beautiful city have zero guards of any kind? Dany took over that city with ridiculous ease, it seemed. Basically 1) the coup at the council meeting and 2) her dragons burning the voodoo guy - entire city. I'm really…
