Frantic!

It's literally equating being left handed with being evil.

"Forgive the cis-het analogy, but he truly is the guy all the women want and all the men want to be with." Really, AVC? Are we going to start apologizing to lefties for calling things 'sinister' now, too?

The 'load more' vs. 'load all' is one of the biggest reasons I don't visit the site all that often, and comment even less.

Julian May - I'm pretty sure you could eat her books, just from how rich the food descriptions are.

If I have to click to open comments in a new window, it would be sweet if all the comments also loaded.

I think you just have to find other people on his frequency and then tune them in to his stuff. His best stuff is also the 'cutliest'. I mean, I love Heavy Traffic, but I haven't been able to get other people to watch it. To me, it always felt like someone looked at the cover of 'Can't Buy a Thrill' and decided to

I love his LotR, but agree with you on American Pop, and Wizards especially. Avatar would make an interesting Gandalf.

Wizards is terrific. It's probably 'celebrated' by the same people who keep Heavy Metal alive, though. Susan Tyrell's narration and Bob Holt's Peter Falk impression are both so good. The whole thing is like the apotheosis of '70s fantasy.

VATS was one of the things I most liked about FO3 and NV - it kept some of the turn based feel of the originals. I'm looking forward to this a little less, without it.

FO1 is my favorite PC game. The instruction manual sets up the retro future aesthetic and the storyline was great. Don't know how the turn-based gameplay and dated graphics hold up, but I'm hoping for an Android port so I can give it another go.

It has its flaws, but Wizards is my favorite Bakshi movie, and one of my favs overall.

There were a lot of great movie soundtracks, though. More than lately, it seems.

It's supposed to be Patty Smyth day. This is going to turn into quite the Scandal.

Union Square had one, for sure. IIRC, it's near the police station down there. The elevated stations on the A line out in Queens had them, but I don't know what their status is.

That's great! I'm glad McMurtry is getting recognized for not-arts. Lonesome Dove is one of the best books I've ever read, but all of his other books are so not good. Horseman, Pass By was passable, but the rest are just awful.

I loved it when Craig anchored it, and it improved after he left, so who knows?

The twist is that I actually have no soul.

WTF are all these Wolverine ads doing at the bottom of the article. Way to totally miss the point, Amazonbot!

I am a soldier. I feel so confused when I sing along to it. . .
