Denise Richards wasn't that bad, as far as Bond girls go. It's just that they could have cut her and devoted more screen time to Marceau, maybe beefed up her story a bit. It would have been a lot like one of the Gardner Bond novels, actually.

It's my favorite of the Brosnan theme songs - I hated Die Another Day and can't even remember the others.
Dalton was my favorite Bond because he seemed a bit grittier, and angrier, than the guys before him. Brosnan's movies were a bit too polished - in the books, Bond is almost a bit thuggish, a bit battered by the job.
Yeah, the duel on Boston Commons was the best in that movie. Especially since he apologizes after being stabbed about five billion times.
I think that part of the whole code of dueling was to give both parties a chance to cool off, and use their seconds as go betweens to come up with a situation satisfactory to both parties.
The NRA is busy protesting tyrannical government in Fergus . .oh, no, wait. They don't give a fuck about that kind of tyranny.
In my experience, the two are unrelated. Plenty of intelligent, well trained and accurate folks in the military. Plenty of idiots who can barely shoot themselves in the foot, too.
I stopped after season 1 - no beef with the show, but it's just one more thing that I never got around to catching up on. If I remember nothing else from the show, I'll remember the montage / music for the opening credits. That's a pretty solid combo.
They're far from essential reading, but if you can find them in book swaps, they're worth picking up.
They were okay - they managed to develop a consistent mythology for the characters, had some recurring villains and, over time, developed into a decent parody of the genre while still remaining readable in their own right. Most were around 200 pages, so they don't require much of a time investment. Let's say they're…
Aside from Achy Breaky Heart, Cyrus was passable. Shoulda Been Me was a catchy enough song. He's not amazing, but he's at least as good as most of whatever else was on Top 40 Country at the time.
Murphy and Sapir (and ghost writers) cranked those things out at a rate of one per month. I had them on my 'pull list' at Forbidden Planet, back in the day.
Needs more Dalton Wilcox.
Backdoor pilot for Remo 911.
I recall some talk of a Fletch reboot a few years ago. Ah, here it is, starring Jason Sudekis.
Grey did a passable Chiun - I could see Chiun in the books looking like a cross between Grey here and Yoda. I seem to recall the books describing him as having fairly hairy ears.
I'm doing science and I'm Still Alive . . .
The novels were fun - kind of like the Mack Bolan books, except they didn't take themselves at all seriously (inasmuch as an inanimate object can express these sorts of things).
Maybe, but at $10 during the holiday season sales, it didn't really matter. Now, if I only enjoyed reading on my tablet.
Also played one of the bad guys in Miss Congeniality: the Quickening. Took me a while to recognize him.
I mean, I know because it's on his IMDB page!
