right?  I hated her in the beginning, too, to be honest, 'cause I always hated anyone involved in the whole boss-fucking-secretary dynamic on this show (and also because she seemed pretty dim), but she's become one of the more interesting characters, I think because she's not so hardened as everyone else.  (massive

I'll be gross with you, I feel sort of uncomfortably attracted to him even though Pete Campbell is just the worst and Vincent Kartheiser is, well, a vegan.  (also, engaged in real life to the crazy one with the huge head from last season—ick?)

so good.  it was maybe the third time already this season where I've thought, "man, I miss Lane. he should just miraculously appear and punch Pete right now."

I've done it too. and what's especially weird for me is that I was a senior in HS watching that show and being all OH MY GOD I AM LINDSAY WEIR as it originally aired, and now she's playing a woman with children in college and I am most definitely not that lady.

I was thinking the same thing—I didn't watch the Sopranos, and not to be a huge nerd, but maybe this season will be the meandering Half-Blood Prince of the series, letting the pieces start to fall into place?  (though that was actually probably my favorite HP book, so hmm.)

oh, I definitely preferred Dimitry(sp?) but I feel like Stanley is this season's rough analog.  I wish I had money to pay that dude to follow me around and narrate my life and tell me when I'm being idiot.  and look like a lost member of Depeche Mode.

one more thing:  I wish there had been a brief scene of Perry-Tu in New York calling up Walter-Kate in Paris and them being all giggly and "OH KATE I miss you Michelle sucks YEAH SHE SUCKS let's have a sleepover woooooo"

absolutely—after 11 seasons, Heidi's bored and wants to see more wackadoodle than "I would wear that", and I'm with her.  probably why my favorite from last season, dreamy bearded shaman Fabio, made it so far.

for weeks, I've been baffled by Patricia's continued existence on this show, and Heidi's championing of her (is there anyone whose clothes she would be less likely to wear?).  Patricia makes things that are sometimes striking—loved what she did with the fabrics last night—but ALWAYS shapeless and awkward.  (on that

great episode to end a silly season, but I really wanted Pam and Cheryl on Stimutacs.

@avclub-354cba0b7ecec1d87911f67404d29af6:disqus in a weird accidental way, yeah…I honestly can't see Jinkx doing as well with any of the rest of them as she did with him.

@avclub-7adb6a50e7687b45a00b35796f18f17d:disqus  I'm just gonna leave this (mildly NSFW) here.

I saw this playing on mute tonight with captions on one of the big-screens at the gym, which is always a bizarre way to first experience something…though it usually makes the sort of shows that you see on at the gym more entertaining.  This time, this was not the case.

I am DYING right now envisioning Coco vs. Rip Taylor: The Rippening.

THE HUNTY FOR RED OCTOBER.

I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I'll sit over here with y'all—he's dreamy, and SCOTTISH.  (and yeah, my first Real Boyfriend was a total ringer for him.)

I dunno, have you seen Beyond the Valley of the Dolls?  Ebert's true crowning achievement, God rest his soul.

she definitely did—but she also looked just like Roxxxy.  well, if Roxxxy melted a little.

…and that it wasn't Alyssa to take her down.  I wanted it a little too much.
