knowing their in LA i'm sure these 100 top chef fans were actually a bunch of unemployed actors and actresses desperate for any chance to get on TV that doesn't involve them taking off their clothes.

Those are awful…they seem like an SNL fake commercial

Every time I see an ad like this
I think of the Itchy and Scratchy and Poochy episode of The Simpsons where that one network exec wants to "rastify" poochy by 10%. The are actual people like her who come up with these ad campaigns.

Yeah, definitely don't feel sorry for Leiber or anything. Frankly his show sounded boring but maybe it's just because I'm a scifi dork.

Jeffrey Leiber
According to a Chicago Magazine article from a couple of years ago, Evanston native Jeffrey Leiber was the one who came up with the plane crash on a tropical island. His show was more Cast Away or Lord of the Flies but then Abrams was brought on board and introduced all the sci-fi stuff. Leiber was

I enjoy your theories and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Douchebaggery has been around forever but the celebration and acceptance of douchbaggery…I think we can trace that back to the mid 90s

Yes Bob, that is what I'm saying. I didn't know what I was typing would be this hard to understand.

ok

Initially I thought Circe too but then I did some interweb research. Either way, when I first started watching this show last year I just thought it would be about vampires, which is enough to draw a huge nerd like me into weekly viewing. But now they're throwing in shapeshifters, greek mythology, werewolves and who

What I meant was that the concept of the Underworld movies is a war between Vampires and Werewolves…the Underworld movies were not based on a book but I think if the plot of True Blood did become a werewolf/vampire war then people would say they're just ripping off Underworld.

Nevermind, my prayers have been answered:

I'm still waiting for James Ellroy's Underwold USA
To become an HBO series. I know it's only 3 books (the final act hasn't come out yet) but what better way to adapt these dense books than over 10 or 12 episodes? There was talk of Bruce Willis producing and starring in an American Tabloid mini-series for HBO but now

I haven't read the books
And I know that the entire shitty "Underworld" series is based on this, but is there a chance at the church of light are Werewolves? The Harris novels came out before the Underworld "films" so it wouldn't technically be a rip-off

Rawbun…check out maenad's and Dionysus…doesn't really explain Maryann's claws and the minotaur though

I know they're allegedly popular characters
But the main reason that I can barely stomach this show is because of Turtle and Drama. I know that part of an entourage is having moochers and hangers-on but it doesn't mean I actually want to watch that happen. A show about the inner-workings of Hollywood, however

Smoov B?
?

How about Ed Alonzo at the dinner
You might remember him as the owner of The Max on Saved by the Bell…well the first owner before that weird actor guy took over.

Everyone knows that St. Louis is at the forefront of fashion
What with the timeless look of all St. Louisians, jean shorts, sweater vest over t-shirt and tassled loafers…chic!

Someone should tell Palin
Girls can't play basketball!

How do you grade the episode!
I need a grade! A? A-? B+? C'mon!
