What happened to Peanut Butter Twix?
When I was a kid I remember there was caramel twix and peanut butter. Then they had some half-assed cookies and creme flavor and peanut butter seems to have fallen out of favor. Then about 10 years ago I started to see peanut butter twix pop up in individually wrapped bars in 10

I remember a Rolling Stone article about Wellesley College
Back in the late 90s/early aughts…really made me want to go there for spring break

I was just going to post about his accent. Thomas Jane is Candian, Detroit is close to Canada, so I'm wondering if his slowly disappearing Canadian accent (from years in Hollywood) makes it into a good Detroit accent.

There's still a lot of meat on that boen
You get yourself some broth, some vegetables, you got yourself a stew

Seemed a lot like Star Trek Voyager
with a faulty Holodeck…and of course the not very subtle reference to Pike from the get-go. But I really really loved this episode and I'm really bummed that I won't be able to watch it for 3 weeks next fall before it gets canceled and replaced with a reality show where people try

I read some more things about the book vs. the show so I think I'm probably wrong about her being circe. I just saw pig and them remembered The Odyssey.

Is there a chance Maryann is Circe?
I know maenad works but Circe doesn't work half bad either…person turned into pig, lives in mansion on a clearing surrounded by woods, lures people to a feast

well they're not exactly throwing the chefs off their game, as the reviewer/summarizer would like. and i guess i wouldn't mind that either. On the other hand, it seems like almost every professional/celeb chef is comfortable with offal.

Here's how to throw a Top Chef off his game
Don't even give Rick Bayless the chance to cook with tongue! Tongue! Are you kidding? As soon as he got tongue I knew he was making lengua tacos! And tripe too! What do you make with tripe, menudo! C'mon! He had a 50% chance of getting an ingredient that is a staple

Wake me when she's unable to find work and has to show her funbags

Yeah I guess just what everyone else said…more about who the featured person/genre etc…has influenced. Most of the Gateway to Geekery pieces I've read are about people/genre's that have been around for a long time and stood the test of time. Some more obscure than others. Obviously by my username I'm a huge fucking

Some advice for the "Gateway to Geekery" feature
Maybe this has been suggested already but shouldn't there also be a "Why Should I Care" heading that explains why someone might want to get into Stephen King if they haven't? Maybe talk about his modern followers that were influenced by his writing…Lost for example.

I hate Seth Green
So I'm glad he's appearing in something this atrocious. I'm sure he just wanted the chance to work with other comedy-killing legends like Travolta and Williams.

As someone who grew up in the 80's
I will always love Weird Al

You know what else is still on…that fucking Jim Belushi show

Who/What are Frangela?
Anyone?

Why was Palin on the Today's Show?
I was half listening to a promo for it last night and they mentioned the Letterman stuff but also some Republican snub. Was she booked before the Letterman stuff and the Today's Show got lucky? If so, why does some perceived snub warrant any attention being given to her?

everything else for him is just gravy

Is Pelham the beginning of the line then? I guess I'm wondering if the transit service still refers to trains as such.

The true mark of a film critic is how entertaining his negative reviews are…Nate's are always pretty good…dare I say that sometimes they're even Ebert-esque
