Feeding of the 5000, Penis Envy, and the collection Best Before 1984 are all great from start to finish. If you're looking for something a little more generic, check out Conflict. They have a more traditional punk sound, and Steve Ignorant played with them for a while.
As a teenager in the mid-2000s, I dreamed of living in the 80s. There was a real, dangerous punk scene, Star Wars, Evil Dead, Blade Runner, etc. I recognized that a lot of it sucked, but it seemed to have a lot more going for it than 2005 did.
"I'll send YOU to Vulcan!"
I moved from Portland, OR to Taipei, Taiwan, which as you can imagine led to a lot of films on the plane. I finally got a chance to see STOKER, which I found to be on a lower caliber than Chan-Wook Park's Korean films, but was still pretty damn great. I also saw MAMA because I love Jessica Chastain, and was surprised…
Good to know. Thanks
Best/worst moment of my life: when I was 17 the bassist of my band sold heroin to STZA. I got to sit in the car while they did their thing. STZA spent the whole time lecturing us about staying of drugs.
They've become something of a guilty pleasure, which is too bad. I remember being 15 and missing when they came through Portland because I'd been charged with theft. That night broke my heart. Now, I've had several chances to see them and chosen not to, because the roots rock punk thing is kinda garbage
I've always associated Digible Planets as part of the native tongues. Not seeing them in this article made me want to double check. Were they?
Low End Theory also has lines like, "drink a lot of soda so they call me Dr. Pepper"
Having done all of those, I can say that Muay Thai is way more intensive then Tae Kwon Do. That said, it sounds like he doesn't know shit about Muay Thai. And let's face it, boy bands would all fight each other with Capoeira
Shaq became a cop?
lack of name- Pauly Shore doesn't have a personal assistant? I've just discovered my dream job opening.
That just kind of blew my mind
Payback: The Director's Cut. It begins with Mel Gibson stealing money from a homeless man, which seems like something he would do. Overall, brainless fun.
"At least Google cares about our latest movie."
That's the same fucker who dressed up like me and made out with the girl I just broke up with at a party.
Arrested Development Season 4 (like most of you), Zero Dark Thirty (finally), Iron Sky, and Justice League: Doom. Also, played a lot of XCOM, which is even better than I remembered
I feel like JSA is often overlooked amongst Chan Wook-Park's films, but it is an amazing film.
This is I think my fifth time through the whole show. I always find season 3 to be the weakest.
