Mazel Tovs all around!
How about best line of the season? I'm going to go with "Arlo… use your words."
'Modernized' means giving the hero some emotional problems. The new Voltron will suffer from separation anxiety and trust issues.
Hey what part is ODB?
Sean O'Neal wants to ban women's razor blades and make abortion mandatory for Christians.
"Pictures Rush Limbaugh performing cunnilingus on Sean Hannity"
What about that beer with the skittles floating in it. You know, Skittlebrau?
Junky is worth a look if you're a Burroughs fan, though it's a much more straightforward book than the style he would develop later on. A lot of it is clearly autobiographical and it actually has a linear story to it, if a very thin one. In that book he sounds more like the Beats who were his peers at the time.
As for…
Let me guess
The big twist is that February is actually the voice of the author expressing how he feels about torturing his own characters, who are just reflections of the depression he feels during winter.
Either that or - Gasp! It was Earth, all along!
Whoops.
A problem and a question
One problem I did have with this episode: that opening scene of Bo meeting the Miami cartel guy in Florida. Bo's redneck speech was good, sure, but the whole "bad guys meeting on a golf course to discuss their drug deal" thing kind of made me cringe.
And then, when that truck full of ephedrine…
I know for the sake of the show they have to create plenty of tangles in Raylan's relationship with his ex-wife, but I kind of wish he'd been able to stick with Ava. Joelle Carter (Ava) is adorable, and besides, she seems like a better fit for Raylan's 'man gotta do' attitude than his ex, who apparently thinks that…
That scene in the church… I got shades of There Will Be Blood…
I love Ava, but she's the most obviously disposable cast member. I doubt there's a role for her in season 2. And since she refuses to leave Arlen, there's only one other way to close her character's story…
I don't live in the U.S. so I use websites like the following:

Within a few hours of it airing on TV, multiple links are up to various websites streaming the latest episode. Of course, some of them are bullshit clogged full of ads, but there's reliable stuff like megavideo in there.
But at what cost, APEX. But at what cost.
Hulk Breathalyzer
Hulk Urinal Cakes
On a similar note, a lot of the same shows do 'hobo' jokes, in which the homeless are somehow nothing more than punchlines. I'm not saying everything tragic must be taken with absolute seriousness, but the jokes about homeless people I see on TV seem to come from a position of utter callousness.
Awww. I'll rub your tummy, little guy.
