This discussion now has me looking at catching up on Spiderman, which I ditched when I heard about the results of the One More Day storyline.

Ultimates
The moment Jeph Loeb took over the comic is the moment it died. I used to look forward to The Ultimates, with its adult and intelligent take on super hero teams, but they lost me about 10 pages into Ultimates 3 when Loeb got rid of the intelligence and went further with the so-called adult edge, which wasn't

This is the second episode this season where it just doesn't work. The first was the Michael breaks up with Pam's mom episode, which just never jelled. And neither did this one. They pushed too far in the queasy direction without earning the feeling, meaning that they just didn't seem realistic-ish. Sure, it's

Herzog's Voice
His voice when speaking English should be used in all automatic, voice-activated systems, in hospitals, airports, everywhere. I remember reading about him helping Joaquim Pheonix after his car crash, and thinking, what a soothing voice to tell you, "No, you're not all right." He's the original bad news

Hey, great minds and all…

Well, Abe Vigoda is still alive…

Barney Miller
There's a great show that needs rediscovering. Holds up very well.

Agreed, but he still looks pretty young. He'd've been perfect 10 years ago.

Brendan Fraser
Much as I kinda hate to say it, he's the guy who should be playing Captain America. Fraser looks the part, and can play that sort of role pretty well. And how would they explain Jim's sudden, huge increase in muscle mass on The Office if Krasinski got the part? Dwight would have an explanation, but I

You type very neatly for someone hanging off the hood of a police car.

Damned shame they didn't keep the original title: Son of Grease. Note that Christopher (I'm in everything at some point) McDonald debuted in this.

That's not his name!

Possibly the only time the slow clap works.

Wow…
Too bad he couldn't turn it around. I'm actually thinking about Corey Feldman right now, who managed to do that, and how this has to be destroying him since he couldn't help his friend to do the same.

Two Moon Junction. Or that Beauty and the Beast ripoff she did with the much hotter "Charlie" — the woman who played the Georgia Peach in Wild at Heart.

I'll agree, in part. Adrian Zmed is great, the opening sequence is a lot of fun, and there are some moments where the thing is so bad it's awesome. But they played it every other day on HBO during the 80's, and it wore out its welcome then. Now, Vh1 whatever plays it just as much, and it's worn out its welcome again.

Grease 2 is dark enough. It had its own HBO channel in the 80's.

Now, The Gate is one of the 80's better B-movies. A blast, that one is. The Wraith is not, regardless of the presence of Sherilyn Fenn.
