Just re-watched the Impossible Astronaut this morning and caught River saying something like, "I'm a screamer… oh, spoilers." They obviously do it. Kinkily, I'm guessing.

My only question at the moment - the Amy and Rory we saw in the mall last episode (where Amy's a model/perfume creator/superstar) - where is that? Have they seen the doctor die? Is that after the end of this episode, where she knows he's alive and is just content to live out her days?

The last one, I think. Amy and Rory already saw the Doctor die in the past.

Yeah, I enjoyed the first 50 minutes or so, but when we got to the power of love bits and the children singing while River floated in her suit I got a bit embarrassed for the show.

He was still petting it pretty vigorously, though.

He seemed a little too calm for that to be the case. I think that would've merited at least a little gasp.

But the pragmatic part of me agrees that he saw himself behind the door.

The romantic part of me thought he may have seen Rose, as a manifestation of his fear that he is just RUINING his companions' lives, not enriching them.

I think he may have called him "Beaky," as in big nose. But the dialogue seemed very rushed and sometimes muddled throughout the episode.

I was in Narita airport catching a plane back to America and I saw a woman (not a teenager, a full-grown woman) wearing that hat, getting on the plane. I hadn't even started the 12 hour flight back and already I was ready to fucking punch her.

I liked the scene too. I think an understated part of the overall plot is Penny coming to realize that she's slowly transforming from the popular girl into a real live adult whose life may not be where she wants it to be.
