I think Titus Andronicus' The Most Lamentable Tragedy is the best rock album of at least the last two years.

I love every other Tokyo Police Club album, and I can't even listen to the new one. And I've tried a bunch a times.

A little out of left field, but how about their recent Spont?

David Goyer could have an eternity and would still come out with the script for BvS.

What is Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but a rare butchered remake helmed by the original people?

Why hasn't someone made Red Harvest into a movie? That book is an awesomely nasty piece of work.

A kid once told me his favorite movie was Billy Crystal's Parental Guidance.

This seems rash.

One of the few times Kozelek was more interested in making songs than soundscapes, and he's really good at making songs.

I maintain that the finale of Batman, Inc. was a near-explicit "Screw You" to DC for how they treated his Batman run.

Ah I love their Spont so much. I could have used another hour of the manatee talking.

They did also mention (last week maybe?) that they were in the middle-tier of Earwolf podcasts, which I found heartening.

Sunless Sea's artificial sun that is slowly mind controlling Fallen London's Navy is the most Lovecraftian element of a very Lovecrafty game.

(Extremely Hayes voice) Guys, I wanna talk about Spont right now!

Wow, how'd they get Paul Rust!

As a kid I had the good guy ship and one of the anime flying videos and I remember it was a lot of fun. Whenever the glowing yellow bullets were on screen, you could just turn the ship away from the tv and then you could never lose! I don't think I ever saw the syndicated show, though.

Scrooge is so good that it became the word to describe people like Scrooge.

Sir Digby Chicken Caesar still makes me laugh every time I think about it.

I really like that distinction. I wonder if the new Twin Peaks will be dark fantasy or horror.

The newest one is really great too.
