Whoops! That was actually the plot to the next entry in my terrible Empire series! Mixed up my notes, there!

This coffee is delicious.

Oh man, I love Seaguy with all my heart.  I recall Cameron Stewart mentioning that Morrison was scripting the third volume a few months ago.

Whoa, "Everything You Know is Wrong" is a TMBG style parody?  Your blowin' my mind here, man.

Worked for Roseanne!  Or wait, not worked, the other one.

It looks like someone (Frankenstein?) put his chest on backwards.

I watch Work Outing at least once a month.  My other favorite for guaranteed laughs is The Final Countdown:

Woof.

I did too!  I just wanted someone on that show to treat him right, is all.

I didn't even recognize Mickey in Star Trek Into Darkness.  I had never seen him play a character with an ounce of dignity before.

Then Star Lord just sat in his ship and ate a whole thing of candy beans.

One thing that has bugged me: I thought the relative decency of Stan Sitwell and Lucille 2 made a nice contrast with the Bluths' way of life.  Lucille 2 was sweet and Stan was a good man and they didn't have to sink to the Bluths' level to be as successful or more so.  This season both of them are just as duplicitous

I took some high school film students on a trip to California and we wanted to see a live television taping.  Welp, it was either this or Funniest Home Videos, so there we were.  I was surprised by just how many people have to come together to create something so mediocre.  After every take 7 writers would descend

Dr. Wordsmith!

You're the best, Sean.

When did ORB come out?  During this "cold streak"? Because that entire episode slayed me.

I think it's far from his best, but I love Castle of Cagliostro.  It's so fleet and effortless that it exudes joy.  The only adventure film in its league is Raiders.

The ending isn't "old man grapples with modernity", it's "man is powerless in the face of true evil, but soldiers on anyway," which makes it not a bait-and-switch, but a continuation of a theme.
