Reading old issues of American Flagg! has made me really sad about the decline of Chaykin's artwork in recent years. But the guy is pretty old.

Don't even get me started on that book. Such a fucking perfect creative team. Shalvey is one of my favorite artists of the last five years, and this is such a great project for him.

I'm so excited to see what Ales Kot does with Secret Avengers. His Suicide Squad and Zero make me think that espionage action is where he excels most. I mean, the guy has me excited for a freakin' IRON PATRIOT series.

I've got the feeling that Waid, Samnee, and Rodriguez are going to be handling a Dr. Strange relaunch in March. Waid said in an interview that this creative team isn't splitting up, and I think they could make Dr. Strange sell. Also, I want to see Samnee channel his inner Ditko.

Even more disappointing because that shit was announced a year and a half ago. Gaiman says it's his fault because he was too busy touring to write the scripts. Blegh

He just posted an official statement on his website:

Gillen and McKelvie are moving on to a new project, most likely new Phonogram. Also, YA has always been released in "seasons." And I don't mind creators getting the chance to tell a complete story without letting drag on forever.

Richie Rich is a Warner Bros. movie.

Very very good Nico stuff in that book. Also: this show is the perfect place for a Runaways back door pilot.

Low key is being generous. They didn't play it at all. Although she could have been checking May out during that silence.

Forgot about Hand being a lesbian. I'll give them some credit for that. Here is your credit, Agents of SHIELD.

Completely unrelated, are you reading Avengers Arena? Just asking because of the avatar.

This is excellent. Thank you.

I think Snyder's Batman is just fine, honestly. The last part of "Year Zero" lost me.

Soule's Swamp Thing has become my favorite DC book after Wonder Woman. Far better than Snyder's run.

He will be back in December! Solicitations have him drawing #34.

FYI: Due to legal claims on the name, "Collider" is changing its title to the far less catchy "FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics":

Ooh Gotham Central just shot to the top of my list. I'd cover that in a heartbeat.

I'd be down for putting it up to a commenter vote again like Sandman. Here are some potential noms I'm throwing out there:

For anyone who wants more reading on this issue and Morrison's run in general, this Comics Alliance piece by David Uzumeri blew my mind: http://comicsalliance.com/g…
