I love love love Treetrunks. She makes me smile every time.
I've tried to get into Young Justice but it just wasn't doing it for me. I thought the animation was slick, but the stories weren't grabbing me and I found the cast pretty obnoxious. Has it gotten better?
I'm enjoying Court of Owls, but it hasn't reached "Black Mirror" greatness for me yet. It's still one of the best of the new 52, though, along with Snyder's Swamp Thing (#7 is one of my favorite issues of the year). The Dick reveal didn't bother me, but that might be because I'm just getting used to random retcons to…
The first time I caught it was the week after Madame got cut, because there's really no way to miss Madame.
In terms of contemporary Avengers, Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch's Ultimates is the inpiration for much of the movie universe. That's available in a softcover omnibus, I believe.
A very good chance…
Gail Simone is doing one of the Milhouse stories, so I'm excited.
I love all three of these suggestions, especially Total Eclipse.
Yes, it's fantastic.
Chad is wonderful, I can't wait to see her totally in her element next week.
I had no idea this existed. Going to seek that out now and report back soon.
If you're talking about the cover, that's Lee Bermejo, not Butch Guice. And his left arm is completely metal, so none of those muscles are real. His right arm looks fine.
Martin is rumored to be moving on to a BKV creator-owned project, so there's that. Pham isn't my favorite artist and Checchetto is starting to grow on me (his most recent Punisher issue was easily his strongest), but Samnee on #12 (which looks to be a romance issue) is perfect. If he rotates with Rivera I'd be a very…
I blame Grant Ennis' Boys, which made fun of bolding in an issue and now I can't stop thinking of it whenever I read a superhero book. I completely agree about Campbell's Glory, though. Great design.
Saga is $2.99 for 46 pages of story. There's no reason not to buy it. Give it a chance, you probably won't regret it.
Goodman did write two episodes of Angel, but more importantly he was script coordinator on Buffy for four years (the best ones IMO), which means he probably spent a lot of time in that writers room. I think that's a big influence on his OUAT episodes, especially with Buffy's direct ties to the supernatural.
So many GIFs this week. I want Madame LaQueer's "Wow" after Dida's lip sync.
I'm going by production order, the episodes were aired out of order. Which is also how the DVDs are arranged.
Yup!
