Cat Scratch Fever. Derek's swan song and she goes out a big honking failure.

Viruses are bad
When things like this go viral I'm reminded that viruses usually kill people.

Yes!

The serialized nature of comic book makes spoilers harder to avoid, I feel. The events of the past have a larger effect on the current stories, so spoilers end up happening. Same reason why TV show reviews are longer than a movie review.

When it comes to Top Shelf, Oni, and the smaller publishers, it will depend on the book as to whether Noel or I cover it. Fink might not be mainstream enough, frankly.

Flashpoint is definitely getting covered. The 14 tangential minis? Less likely.

I think Hickman's FF is the best the book has been since Waid, and S.H.I.E.L.D. is brilliant. I'm sad its going on hiatus, but whatever needs to be done to keep the quality up, I guess…

Post-Blackest Night the books have lost some momentum for me, but I continue to enjoy Johns' main book. Not all that excited for War of the Lanterns, though.

DC and Marvel (along with their imprints), as well as Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Boom!, and Dynamite will be under my jurisdiction. In terms of what books I'll be reviewing, I'll be looking at noteworthy first issues of new creative teams and mini/ongoing series (that includes crossovers). Not everything is going to be

I've come to realize that while the director's certainly have an influence, ultimately it comes down to the animation studio in terms of quality. Kirkland directed "Gray Ghost" and it's stunning.

Awesome trivia! Thanks.

I believe it's told, but not shown or anything. And it's also one of his last appearances on the show.

I will take that into consideration. Would be fun.

That Animato special is amazing. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out.

I think my hatred of this episode might be peppered with the bile from viewing Cat Scratch Fever earlier this week. God that episode is even worse than this one.

As much as I love Cooke's art, the first arc is not the book's best. "Relentless" and "No Easy Way Down" are my fantastic, though. And Cameron Stewart followed by Javier Pulido isn't too bad either.

My favorite. So much beauty in that book.

@Robuttnick I'll be covering books released over the past month, so ASM 655 is certainly possible. Marcos Martin is easily one of the best pencillers working right now.

For everyone who hasn't:

R.I.P. Dwayne McDuffie
A staple of the DCAU, Dwayne McDuffie passed away today. His work on JLU is some of the best writing superhero cartoons have seen. He will be greatly missed.
