Elementary schools, like most of our neighborhoods, are very segregated.

I immensely enjoyed the episode and this review. I felt the line between deeper comment on the justice system and character study was well straddled personally. Such great performances from the smaller characters, including everyone on the witness stand.

Maybe not realistic but I found Chandra's hit or miss representation very compelling. We don't often see lousy lawyering depicted.

The scene in the casino had me cheering.

Agree. Not sure what folks wanted. That was one of the best, most intense 90 minutes of TV I've experienced.

Acting was top notch across the board. Including the asshole judge!

Why exactly did Freddie write the note encouraging Naz to take the deal?

It did me at first, and I removed it from Spotify. A few days later some of the hooks were bouncing around my brain so i re-added it. Now I'm enjoying it on its own terms, which is as a very solid, if not particularly edgy pop record.

Oh come on, he's not that big of a jerk.

Surprisingly strong record
The mixtape made me a little nervous that it was going to be all ultra-lo-fi trance rehashes, but he stepped it up. Psyched to see the live show.
