The thing is, your argument falls down when you consider that this has been the entire conceit of the show, is that the people around him are either unaware or willfully ignorant of what's real and what isn't with Forrest.

Yeah, of course. I'm not going to say it's the friendliest place on Earth, but I always bristle when people go on about how angry and mean French Canadians are, because I'm exposed to it on a daily basis, I speak English, and have never encountered that kind of behavior.

I've lived here for half a decade and have never made anyone mad at me. Maybe you're the problem?

That's because it's not that bad. I've lived here for five years, and have never once encountered the smell of horseshit. It's not some hot button issue we're struggling with.

I honestly think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you stick with it, just based on my own feelings of how it's going to go. But go into it with an open mind! Just because someone played a certain way the first time doesn't mean they're not going to go for something completely different on the second runthrough.

Hey, I'm not going to be the one guy making actual worthwhile, thoughtful posts. Despite my rough exterior, I'm actually desperate to fit in!

There's something refreshing about being able to come here season after season and see that the comments are still just as terrible and embarrassing as always.

Not at all the case, I'm happy to report. Only five is less than stellar.

Here's a review for you - PAINFULLY UNFUNNY. Grade: F.

I didnae say it was odd.

sounds fairly literal.

Everyone views comedy differently. I didn't say that, so I can't speak to it.

Well said.

It's supposed to make you laugh, so the idea is not to be a comedy that doesn't make you laugh and is considered artistically successful. It's considered artistically successful because people find it funny.

Professor Blastoff ending was the least surprising thing to me. It had seemed very much like they were winding down over the last several months, with Tig's appearances fewer and farther between, and when she was there, she seemed (understandably) detached and distracted. I'm personally glad that they've decided to
