You're right about the last two being heavy but Boogie Nights, Punch-Drunk Love and even Magnolia are pretty rife with humor, in between the addiction and death.

I think it means that you're deaf. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
This is one of my favorite movies ever. It sounds like a stoner cliche, but it's truly a mindfuck, drugs not included.
I got Michael Bolton.
Amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Do you hate good movies?
If you're a fan of this wonderful man and you haven't seen Love Liza, watch it now. Super dark and depressing, but PSH somehow delivers an incredibly funny, disturbed performance. Truly one of the greats.
The twist is that it's watchable.
So, I remember reading in the comments of this site someone saying that this show would fail because only women and gay men would watch it. Any straight viewers out there? I'm curious.
Was in until ABC.
I recall her saying that she doesn't care very much for savoury desserts which is a different thing entirely than sweet used in savoury cooking.
And Cake Train was her idea, not Zach G's.
There's no way he's going to win, by any stretch of the imagination. It's Nicholas/Nina/Shirley in the F3.
There's only one Greatest Dads, and it's on Tuesdays at 8.
This movie is a fucking blast.

I can't find it now either unfortunately, but I know I read it. Of course, that's not exactly official, but I'll assume she's in the know.
I only started watching The Sopranos this year. I always figured I would enjoy it, but I was 12 when it debuted, and probably wouldn't have gotten it, nor should I really be watching the show as a twelve-year-old. And I only like to tackle one series at a time, and so I had to finish The Wire before I started this.…
I'm curious though, what is your "thing," and what it is about this show that falls outside of it? I'm asking because I don't think it's necessarily my "thing" either, but I like to think good things are my thing. I wouldn't feel silly for thinking I wouldn't enjoy it, but I might feel silly if I was so sure that I…
I think Looking WILL attract viewers. Saying that viewers "already have Girls" suggests that the two shows are interchangeable, and they're clearly not. Being a young gay male is not very comparable to being a young straight female.
