@avclub-392f765bed2826a22a4e84f0523b375c:disqus Some characters will be unlikable, sometimes. I want to think they're setting Tommy up for his comeuppance, but really it was probably just b/c he and Laurel weren't doing anything else and they needed to keep both of them involved.
I haven't seen anything one way or the

Steele chastised Smoak for prying into his wife's finances, which was a fine line from what he originally asked, I'll grant. But what he asked her to do afterwards (on the face of it) had nothing to do w/ that. It was the notebook, not more of the same she had done before and gotten warned about.

Interesting point about the crossbow blurring the moral lines. I like it.

Are we assuming that superpowers are an inherited trait? I'm sure they could be, and that they are sometimes, but  it seems just as likely that she got bit by a radioactive hunting license and away we go.

Tommy's reaction was another thing entirely. He hadn't talked to Ollie about the job yet, and she spilled the beans. He already knows how they feel about each other, but that doesn't seem to deter him.

A man would say that, yes. But neither saying that nor anything else would 'stop' her.

I like him a lot, but most of his involvement nowadays is just scolding Ollie. When he was the bodyguard they at least had some give-and-take.

As if anyone could make it into the tens-of-thousands w/o mentioning Miami. Ridiculous.

I get the idea that Tommy Merlin is pretty okay w/ violating the Guy Code. I agree that it's not a good move, but it's well w/i his character.

I got the impression there was more than just a hit list in the book. Notes, or something. Perhaps particularly egregious scoundrels get a little write-up as to why they need to be taken out.
