It's been my impression that all the actors playing aliens (and especially, as you mentioned, Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas) did a much better job than those playing the humans.  I think Claudia Christian actually gets worse as the series goes along, which is saying quite a bit.  And neither her nor Sheridan are
