Can i just add that I love Nasir's fighting style. It's so different to all the others with their big roar and powerful jumps and swings. It is so fitting to his posture too. It reminds of a snake, especially combined with his hissy roar. I could watch an entire episode of him fighting men and being a badass.
I agree, there is something visceral about Spartacus that I don't have with any other show. The only show that gives me a sore throath after watching it.
That's the thing isn't it. A B+ for an episode of Spartacus is an A for an episode of another show at this point. Spartacus has set such a high standard for itself that minor flaws drag down the grading.
It was an excellent performance. Bennett just killed it.

I figured that the episode is supposed to be an actual episode of the show they are making. So they might have watched all the footage on the boat, but that's not what is being broadcast. I mostly think this because of the addition of the timestamps etc. because that wouldn't be on the raw footage.
While I didn't particularly like the whole capturing the soul in the phone. I suspect they got the idea from the superstition that a photo camera steals your soul. Still it wasn't terribly well executed.
