Well, there is that Kung Fury movie where an 80s action movie hero goes back in time to kill Hitler

You can be against terrorism, dogma, and xenophobia at the same time.

This movie does the standard "breakup-reconciliation" to breezily that I kind of didn't notice. And then the movie just ended without me quite realzing I'd been watching it that long because it felt like so little had happened.

It's like a breezy, unsubstantial B- comedy. It has its moments, and likable but you could watch any episode of Master of None instead.

Someone pitch this to Netflix right now!

I welcome our balls-have-zero-to-me overlords

Directed by Michael Bay and written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci

The 6th and 7th Doctor got offed pretty easily.

Invincible. It is one thing to have a character who can't die from old age. But there can't even be the illusion of stakes if they can't be physically hurt or murdered.

There is no way they could have gotten a female Doctor right off the bat in the reboot. The 11th-12th Doctor switch is the earliest it could have happened.

Chris Chibnall is the head writer on Broadchurch, which I suspect had something to do with her getting this role.

Apparently she's been in sci-fi stuff before. But I had to squint to remember "Oh yeah, she was on Broadchruch and that one episode of Black Mirror" neither of which indicate how she'd play THIS role

I'm generally anti-nitpicking anyway. But complaining about the regeneration limit is even worse than "they should have to remande all the Doctor's after John Hurt because he was the real 9th Doctor" Oh my stars, that is so pedantic it makes my head spin.

I'm sure there have to be some revial only fans like myself who are outraged. But as a dude mostly only familar with Doctors 9-12, a female regeneration just feels like the most obvious switch up to the formula the show hasn't tried yet.

13 regen rule is good for not making time lords theorectically invincible, so for the purposes of individual episodes, there is a logical reason why time lords wouldn't act carelessly. Regeneration doesn't make you Wolverine or Superman, you can die.

Rogue One brought back Tarkin!

That fan ficton probably exists already. So well as the sonic screwdriver well … oh dear

The Master was re-upped before that. No even knows how many bodies the Master has had.

- Dany doesn't know Jon is a Targareyen.
