The Thanksgiving episode is the only episode that's laser focus on dealing with queer issues. But Denise is gay throughout the rest of the series too.

Sense8 is unmatched in how upfront it is about depicting LGBT characters. Having a trans woman at the forefront of a sci-fi story like this, while dealing with trans issues, and having a happy relationship, isn't something I've seen before

It gets A LOT better in the backhalf of S1. The Season 1 finale feels like an entirely different show than the cluttered "what am I watching?" mess that's most of the early episodes

Trump was like A LOT worse though. Imagine if Clinton were president and how it wouldn't be a daily catastrophe?

She's also been dating the same guy her entire adult life.

This show had even more absurd location shooting than Game of Thrones with even higher episode counts per season, so something was going to give unless it was secretly the Netflix's biggest show

At the very least they could do a wrap up special. I don't want to be stuck on a cliffhanger forever

My job makes setting a consistent sleep schedule absolutely impossible. But I do exercise daily. It's a good patience building tool, as once you've gone from "I walked up this hill and now my legs are on fire" to "I can run a 10K no problem." It's less frustrating to take on other incremental challenges

For ****s sake, she'll either enjoy it or not, or just watch one of the movies …. or just find something both she and her date want to talk about.

I think the issue here is the story the show is telling with Francesca is about Dev and how he enters an emotionally messy situation getting too emotionally involved with a married woman.

Personally, the Francesca arc worked for me for what it was. Dev had the hots for a girl who shared a hobby and his sense of humor and also happened to look like Alassandra Mastronardi. Dev is like the only guy Francesca knows outside of an existence she's trapped in, and about to be really stuck with. I got it. And I

Like, what are you even supposed to do if you are in Dev's situation with Cheff Jeff?

Lars just never registered as dead to me, because it was obvious Steven was going to heal him with tears, I didn't have even a fraction of a second to consider he might really be gone or what that would mean

Brandon Sanderson has written like a gazzillion book series in the meantime.

Maybe this is a Breaking Bad/Mad Men situation where they are spliting up the final season into to parts that air in separate years?

I just thought I was watching a "What if a Walter White-style antiohero was president" show.

Well, in their defense, you do exist.

I actually liked that I don't have much more information on Francesca than Dev has.
