I saw this last night with my daughter. Its biggest crime is being dull. Wonder/Underland is basically Victorian England with a few more fish and frog people. The whole supporting cast has the job of running between a few places and being a group with no real distinctions between its members (other than species).

The point about people setting out with no destination is fair, but I wouldn't include Yara and Theon's posse in that. Like the quote from Euron at the end shows, they're Ironborn: They know damn well their lives are forfeit if they don't get the hell outta Dodge toot sweet.

I've enjoyed Katie Rife's newswires for a long time, but this is maybe the first time I didn't subconsciously frame them in the context of Sean O'Neal. This was just terrific.

Yeah, The Flash definitely suffers from Star City Syndrome. There are 3-4 businesses/institutions in existence, and all things take place at them. No, not all things relevant to the show - ALL THINGS.

"The disappointment of Cap 3"? I don't even know what to do with that information.

Holy shit, Dabogues making a rare internet appearance!

Well that took an unexpected turn for the bitchy.

Y'know, I always thought it was Slenderman. Irving Slenderman.

I'm surprised Frank didn't salute him in his final shot. Although I guess it's not like he could've seen it.

I didn't mind the episode, although the Hand's definitely been boring - like, armies of CGI orcs or clones boring - but Karen's piece of "journalism" drops it at least a full letter grade. In both seasons, they've failed to stick the landing in favor of a Big Super Dust-up (in the Mighty Marvel Manner!), but I can

It's probably all the fucking.

Ser Alliser: "Did he ever order me not to kill him? DID HE?"

Maybe it goes all the way down to CHINA!

I like to think in an imaginary epilogue, you see Ellison get the document in his email and settle in to read. Slowly you watch his expression change from optimism to dismay to full disgust. He shoves his chair back from his desk, uttering "Jesus," grabs a few personal items, and walks out of his office, never to

That's fair, but it should carry the qualification that the character must already be Batman-like in advance of the conception of the series. Let's say by, oh, ten years minimum?

Yep. There's a simple formula here that studios seem unable to grasp about making a dark, Batman-style film:
- Are all superheroes in the film Batmans?
- YES: Go ahead
- NO: Consider a different approach

When Harry and Joe are hanging out, and Joe tells him that no, he's not gonna change Barry's mind, the unseen look/gesture of disbelief that Harry gives really sums up that character.

The Winds of Winter has like 100 pages just describing the deliciousness of sausages.

Maybe if I write I comment about it, I will finally get through my head that Missi Pyle is not Stephnie Weir. WHY CAN'T I GET THIS??

In other news, George R. R. Martin now plans to release the final books in his series as pamphlets. Eventually.
