Mary Lynn has always been the MVP for wounded looks.

Yeah, I posted elsewhere that her appearance was … surprising.

I wholly agree. I always thought it was because he looked a little too much like a cartoon, unfairly putting him into the novelty actor category occupied by Patrick Warburton.

Really liked this one. The only thing was, "Know Your Rights" felt like it ended on kind of a sour note. I don't know, the guy got what he wanted, it's just that the gleeful authority figure delivering a smackdown felt … weird for Bob and David, somehow.

I think we can all agree with that.

Great connection to BoJack. I hadn't thought of that, but yeah.

It's easier if you assume Chelsea Handler is actually a Muppet.

I like it, truly, I just don't understand why romantic relationships are the throughline for every episode.

The voiceover promo for this killed me: "The moment you've been waiting for: Will Fitz/Simmons take things to the next level?" THAT IS NOT THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR, YOU IDIOTS.

"I have ALWAYS hated cats, Mr. Bond…"

They really do. I used to think it was the commercial breaks because my first Bond exposures were on cable TV, but having since seen many on their own, every Bond movie is about a half hour too long.

This is another example of something great about the show: Whenever a character acts selfishly, they pay for it. Malcolm can be a real asshole, and he always gets his come-uppance. When he's the underdog, though, he'll usually break even and occasionally (but not frequently) pull off the win.

Yeah. I think a lot of the offspring of this and Roseanne and such took the squabbling for actual hatred, and so they come off spiteful and mean-spirited rather than having any actual heart. Everybody Loves Raymond is probably the only show that lands squarely between those two poles - it's really funny but it often

Oh, is she? Maybe that's what I'm thinking of.

Good call.

Yeah, it's not bad or anything, but the story pretty much ended and they're still telling it. The characters are interesting, but it's mostly just character moments now.

Kuat Drive Yards' AT-AT: Because your Tauntaun will freeze.

I can't rank 'em, but along with EoW and Saga (which is King of All Things), I'm liking Trees and still keeping up with Manhattan Projects when it comes out. Was Wytches Image? That was pretty good too.

I dunno. I wasn't happy about Squirrel Girl as they're writing her in the ANAD Avengers previews, so I'm uncertain about how other characters will carry over.

The most beautiful thing about this show is that while the family is constantly at each other's throats, they will ALWAYS rise up against an outsider attacker. It's one of the few shows that successfully pulls off the "Family of Misfits" genre, along with Roseanne, and (in a more gentle way) The Middle. Raising Hope
