Speaking of Rick and Morty when is the third season gonna air?
Speaking of Rick and Morty when is the third season gonna air?
I guess as production values increases, shows need more and more time to film their season.
So he will be basically reprising his role in Nixon then?
The irony of making a second-generation Goldman Sachs partner a cabinet member after everything he said about Clinton on the campaign is delicious
Isn't Tulsi Gabbard also being considered as Secretary of State?
Doesn't JFK have Cuba fuckups on his resume?
And Truman has the Korea war?
Considering all the talk about the Secretary Of State, I have been looking back at former presidents and thinking
With the exception of Dubya aren't GOP Presidents much better at foreign policies than Democratic ones?
Like Looking at the presidents in modern era-
On the Republican side Eisenhower managed to keep peace…
I kinda like the irony of him dying so close to the 53rd anniversary of his rival's assassination.
Although it's still amazing that he outlived so many US presidents despite the hundreds of CIA plots to kill him.
Goblet was always the one where you know that shit has gotten real. It was the first book that was long and expanded the universe in a whole new way with the introduction of Death Eaters and the return of Voldemort.
Lord of the Rings movies I think?
But yeah the cinematography in Half Blood Prince was phenomenal.
I kinda liked Gambon's Dumbledore. He especially impressed me in Half Blood Prince with his performance as a man who has lived a long life and knows he is near to the end and so he is preparing his successor.
Although the cinematography in Half Blood Prince was phenomenal.
Like I said before the movies lose a lot of the complex character work required to understand the stories in the two and half hours running time.
I think when you see Ron and Hermione in the books with their crackling chemistry and rapport between them and how slowly and steadily Rowling built their relationship you can see why they both are perfect together.
Best film yes but for me personally Deathly Hallows was the best book.
Reading the books again, I was surprised how magnificent the books still are in terms of plotting and character work.
I wish they would have adapted Harry Potter as a TV Show like GOT instead of films. Would have allowed more time for the complex character work that forms the backbone of the series.
I am kinda disappointed to hear about this score because I might be the only one who likes the idea of finally showing us the Global Wizarding War and Dumbledore vs Grindelward.
But they really fucked up the final duel between Harry and Voldemort. In the books it was a masterclass of tension slowly building up where Voldemort finally realized how fucked he was while in the film it was just CGI.
Isn't he basically fucked when Ecuador elects a new president next year, one who may not grant him asylum thus allowing him to be arrested by UK police?
