I agree it is a no win situation, but there is a big park next to the police station 1/2 a mile down the street. Why not hold it there, "honor the heroes" and all that. Cinemark could sponser & be there but have the city host it. Same idea but without showing off the spiffy remodel, where uh, your loved ones died.

"Saudi Aurora" = barren wasteland in BFE. Nobody said it was a clever insult.
