Clearly, I'm alone among AV Club readers because I disagree.  I do love JLD and think she's been terrific on Veep, but I still think Poehler has been consistently better.  Her work in the election episode should win her some awards.

Interesting.  I loved last night's episode and thought The Treaty was one of the best episodes of the season.  Tom is by far, my least favorite character, so I wasn't at all bothered by less screen time for him.  Also, I have to say that I'm really enjoying April's growth this season, so really appreciated her

I've seen this criticism from a lot of people about last week's episode, so maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really didn't feel that the writers destroyed Dave in any way.  He ran into an ex (who was with her new boyfriend), that sparked some old feelings as well as jealousy, and then he acted a bit irrationally.

I don't get the Tom-Ann relationship at all.  It probably doesn't help that Tom is my least favorite character on the show.  But other than that, I liked the episode overall and thought there were some really funny moments.

I could be wrong, but I really don't think this will be an obstacle at all.  Will Ben be awkward and insecure and maybe a little jealous?  Probably.  But I really doubt we're going to have a storyline where Leslie risks her political future to be with Ben, only to have Dave show up a few episodes later to mess things
