I think it would have eventually made him a lot more grumpy. He does have a history of doing what he feels like and acting on a whim. It's not something that would do well on a job that stressful.

I don't mind the last ten seconds of commercials. You know, when they're past their hijinks and actually get around to what they have to say. I don't mind the commercials on PBS at all. They're downright tolerable.
