I think the direction has been pretty good this season. I wondered if Spacey was influencing the production as there are some very theatrical devices being put to work in scene set-up and dramatic transitions between scenes.

Perhaps it is because the nudity is real and the violence is not?

Love it.

Sure thing, though my money's on Peggy writing that one…

…and earlier in the motel, Don was reading The Godfather… Alternative, landmark Mafia reference and subtle nod to The Sopranos (where MW cut his teeth)…?

…maybe they'll meet in the ***afterlife***…

Awesome strut and she looked cool as hell in those shades and with the cigarette accessory. But it was a cigarette accessory… It's all cool until someone gets cancer…

Dying young means Betty will never age, and will always be remembered as beautiful. Similar to Marilyn Monroe…?

I'll say it was very sad. I didn't think it was "hilarious" but instead found it very clever. I half expected the pull out to reveal the mum surrounded with empty red wine bottles. Which would also have been very sad.

Um, it's a TV show, and um, Hannah is not in the classroom yet.
