Yeah, that Data was a real hardass.

Lieutenant HoGAAAANNNN!!!!

I'm also impressed by finding a place for Retinax V.  Kirk is allergic to it, you know.

He did make reference to it, like "the snake makes it all clear" and stuff.  But yeah, it was asking the viewer to take in a lot and jump to the right conclusions.

That wasn't a fellow traveller, that was a deputy who was actually working for the E-Rep. Remember how the ambassador started barking out orders?  Yeah, that's an employee, there.

Broadcast order or intended order?

It's good to know you're principled, Lupin.

Ah, yes, the Gorram Alliance, a coalition of several Votan factions from the Gorra region back on their home planet.

No, you're thinking of Kirok.

Incidentally, welcome to the fold.  Now that you're registered, please don't hesitate to jump in!  Any quip will do, as you've no doubt seen on these boards before.

Yes, we get you're pissed, you have made your point.  Let's just see how it goes from here forward, shall we?

I read that as more "the only day" that they went to the country and had a casual father-son day.  Otherwise, Dad was all business, until Son could join the business, not that they didn't live together.

Yes, spoilers, et al.

You've obviously got some insights and observations about DS9 and Trek in general; feel free to browse some of the past reviews and toss in as you like in the forthcoming ones!  We can always use more smart, fun people.

Also, it's Zack with a K.  Don't worry, common mistake, happens to a lot of people.

See, I thought Quinto did a great job being Spock (albeit not as great as whatsisname being McCoy), but for all his versimillitude with the character, the character in that movie was written poorly.  Quinto did well with what he was given, but what he was given was substandard, is my take on it.  YMMV, of course.

No, you're not.

Ooh, that's MUCH better!

Trick question!  Because one never questions Martok's status.

Oh, that's right, we have to face four episodes of Space Jesus Worf, again.  [sigh] Well, at least it's not Ferengi episodes.
