@JudgeReinhold:disqus What season was that? Is it worth watching just to see his "master play"? I didn't see it and I'm still curious what he did to deserve such adoration.

I thought it was trying to be way too humorous and glib…

@JudgeReinhold:disqus A sign of my relative newness to Survivor fandom: when Colton announced he had the idol at Tribal Council, I yelled, "No!! You're an idiot!"

Somewhat admittedly in preparation for the upcoming film, I started reading The Hunger Games. I'm not sure what I expected, but — after consuming nearly 200 pages over the weekend — I'm finding it delightful so far.

What amazes me about him is that he could COMPLETELY make up for not being able to "relate" to them by taking on a project around camp. Or offer to play the role of a spy and take on a much more subtle approach to how he interacts with the women. I don't know… there's just so many strategies he could adopt beyond

Yeah. His job thing said "Stand-up Comedian."

As a straight man, I feel like a homophobe every time I want to punch him.

In his interview with EW this week, Probst said he hoped someone would step up and play the "host role." Why that would be fun or anyone in their right mind would do it, who knows.

And two more for the hat.

I have a feeling he's the coolest guy on that tribe.

What male values?

God, she was effing adorable. Maybe one of the cutest I've ever seen on the show. I liked her immediately. But of course, of COURSE she's the one to break her wrist.

@avclub-eee6e49e09ab1c283e2d7689d45a7b4b:disqus mentions her as, like, some sort of devil-woman?

The weird thing about it was — the other girls offered to give the guys a chicken. Her bargain essentially got fire for free. It doesn't make sense that they'd be mad.

Guys, guys! It's just the first leg of the tour. Let's all calm down. Us other workin' class Joes'll get a chance to see the Messiah.

It totally should, a la "Supercalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious"

Part of me actually prefers 8 and 9 sometimes, in that I think they have actually the funniest, wackiest moments of the entire series. The show deliberately changed its tone, and I enjoyed it immensely.

The comments section for that Hollywood Dreams article is amazing. Did Jaglom himself spend an entire afternoon trolling the AV Club comments board?

And yet the whole season we kept wondering why she wasn't making big moves. Turns out her 'big move' was keeping quiet for a bit.

I read that whole monologue in Sophie's voice. It's exactly what she should say.
