I'm glad the last of these interviews talked about the actual filmmaking of the show.

Maybe I'm not watching this show correctly, but I

My first interpretation of that scene was that Walt was ascribing some value to where the gun ended up, and that the third result — some old pot in his backyard — was just reminding him that it was random chance and that none of it mattered. I saw that "huh" look as resigned disappointment.

I think "there" is the best way to describe this movie. I'm not sure I can really recommend it. There are plenty of moments where the movie seems to moving toward some kind of thrilling set piece, and then it backs away for a less thrilling compromise.

I went to see it, too, half out of nostalgia and half out of drunken irony, and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I always assumed it was FOR the glasses.

Can someone re-edit every episode of Glee to feature Heather Morris exclusively? That's a show I'd watch.

Man, I love Andy Rooney. I bought his "Common (Non)sense" for two dollars at a book sale, and it's by far the best purchase I've ever made.

This guy is the best. A great stand-up with a great attitude. Go Mulaney.

To get super-shallow and superficial about the Pan Am pilot for a moment: that Karine Vanasse went from "oh, she's kind of cute" to the absolute hottest character on that show in a matter of minutes. It was uncanny.

It's a testament to just how much the show's slow-burning character development's paid off.

I think those shots were taken after the girls had driven off. I assume the producers drove in another white Explorer just so they could dramatically zoom in on the passport.

God forbid he critically examine something by making concessions and introducing opposing viewpoints within the same article.

Ironically, didn't "Spin City" attempt to replace Michael J. Fox with Charlie Sheen?

That was my reaction, too — that, for a poet, she seems to have no awareness of human behavior. But then again, she's a spoken word artist. Doesn't need to be a writer, see?

I'm as mad as anyone else at those ads, but am I crazy for thinking she actually looks cute in that dress and sneakers?

Allen's "The Moose" is still the touchstone for stand-up writing, as far as I'm concerned.

Good catch, tinkerbell. Heh.

I just caught the first few minutes of AMC's encore, and that entire first act is brilliant — especially when it ends with Gus in the elevator, listening to the ding-ding-ding of each floor and undoubtably thinking of Hector. Brilliant.
