Price
I was really happy Price will (presumably) remain an active character on the show. They very subtly laid the groundwork of a 3-dimensional character with his excitement to be in New York, his wife's desire to be in London…I almost think Cosgrove is more like Price than is is Sterling. Both good guys, both

I've worked at an ad agency, and I can tell you for a fact that agencies lose clients all the time to employees starting new shops. The creatives and the account people work so closely with their clients that the name in the lobby doesn't carry much weight if the people in the offices aren't good. Most successful

Fire that writer…
…who keeps putting in cheesy, over-the-top scenes like Riggins throwing his books out of his truck on the highway or burning perfectly good practice jerseys. That guy needs to go back to writing for ER. Those scene have no place in FNL.

Editing
The cuts were incredibly awkward when they were first showing the characters discovering the news. It was bad editing. They split up the scene where Don was talking about needing to replace Sal with Duck & Peggy. I see what they were trying to do…the editor wanted to show a chronological reveal of what all the

Glad you're reviewing now
It was a pleasant surprise to see you'll be posting for the dozen of us who are watching on DirectTV. It's not like we can discuss it with our friends…who the hell else is watching FNL besides us hardcore fans who are DTV subscribers?

Dillon Panthers
I hope they don't just use the Dillon Panthers as a plot device. One of the issues with a show following a single football team is that every week the other team plays the big, bad world. It'd be interesting if they have some sympathetic elements on the Panthers team like the racist assistant coach or

That's racist
Can anyone remember the transcript of Jeff and Troy's back and forth on the football field?

Well, dramatic blue balls does fit in well with the episode's theme. I want the confrontation or resolution between Don and Peggy's issues. They've been at each other's throats all season, and they've basically abandoned that story since Don had his "You're good. Get better" speech.

Except that Don Draper with a big smile on his face is not Don Draper. It's John Hamm forgetting that Don Draper doesn't smile.

The Dean
The Dean of the school was really funny. I hope he's featured in more episodes down the road.

Abed & Tro
I actually thought Abed and Troy's storyline was the funniest of the episode. I can't believe giving a character a very specific disorder like Aspbergers hasn't been tried before, because it really gives the actor playing Abed a chance to play each and every line in a totally unexpected and hilarious

Luis Guzman
How do they talk so much about Luiz Guzman and even feature an effigy of him without a guest appearance. Can I assume that's in the works?

Coffee Table Book?
Is this a coffee table book? Am I sure to impress my friends if I put this on prominent display on any flat surface I can find in my home? Does the book have legs that fold out, making the book itself a mini-coffee table?

I'm in agreement, I think Don wanted Sal to give Mr. Lucky Strike what he wanted - or at least to smooth things out. Sal got so up tight that he allowed the client to walk out in a huff, something Don never would have allowed to happen if the shoe was on the other foot (a woman trying to seduce Don).

Talk box
For whoever mentioned it before, the tube in Artie's mouth during the guy's routing seemed to be a talk box (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…, but it didn't quite make sense because you'd need a microphone to pick up the sound echoing from your mouth.

Barney?
Is it just me, or is that V/O done by the same guy who does Barney's voice?

The rolling donut…
Simpsons did it!

Most romantic episdoe yet
…if you only cut out the last few minutes of Betty sulking. Seriously, this was the first episode in three seasons where I truly understood why Don and Betty were a couple. Even before they left for Rome, that evening scene with Don reaching over Betty to write on her notepad, Betty

Agreed, @OhNoNotAgain. After all, why does Joan's husband get the wrath of he angry fans when there have been clear instances of rape, or at least non-consent from Pete, Don and Roger. If you're going to write Joan's husband off because of his indiscretions, don't you have to write these three off as well?

You're right, Miller, Pete trying to figure out how to have a human reaction to something comes up a lot. I think back to Flight 1 when Pete was telling Don how he didn't know how to act immediately after finding out his father was killed. It's like he's more concerned with outward appearances than how he's really
