I got a question about the future: you see yourself taking a shower ever?

I don't especially want them to grow and mature – no one sits down to watch an animated spy action/comedy for rich character development. I just want them to be slightly more dimensional so they're less one-note and so we can't see some of the jokes coming from a mile off. Either that or bring in some new office

There were some funny moments, but it's really sad to see how flanderized these characters have become. As Cheryl highlighted with her "mind-reading" – these characters are so predictable now.

Damn, after a promising start to Season 6 this one kind of sucked for me – just felt like a poor rehash of stuff they've done before.

Great episode. And after failure after failure throughout S4 and especially S5 hooray for them actually stringing two successful missions together!

"The thing that made season 4 so brilliant is the structure—it was unlike anything that I've ever seen in a comedy."

Not a laugh-filled episode but so good to have the old dynamic back. Thank god coke-addled Pam and Cherlene are gone.

because I just want him to solve some damn mysteries in a clever way

Exactly, thank you! It's like creating a puppet show and focusing on the bits of string that make them move and the sticky tape that holds them together. These are the weakest parts, these are the bits you precisely shouldn't be focusing on!

Yeah, thanks for that, I decided to just watch the two-parter. First half was pretty good, Gomez was perfect. Now for part two…

Michelle Gomez! Haven't been watching this season of Who, but if it has her in it I might have to give it a go.

Oh, Mr Byron, don't be such a big girl's blouse.

I don't think one person has mentioned Archer… and with good reason! Please reverse the rampant flanderization and revert to season 1-3 levels of goodness. Thank you.

I only noticed this (possible) Blackadder reference a few weeks ago after re-watching Chains – Prince Ludwig's pronunciation of revenge as 'rewengay' is also how Jeremy pronounces it in Peep Show after he puts JUDAS spelt in meat in Mark's bed.

Well, as long as this food fight doesn't devolve into a serious political discussion *hurls banana bread and an apple tea cake*

Not that I want to start a political bunfight (starts political bunfight)… but I'm not sure that unthinking exploitation of a resource for gain is something unique to capitalism. Oh well, whatever.

His plan to kill the Scottish guy in the 2nd episode (by roping him into the play and then switching in real daggers) was also pretty smart.

What the hell did his whiteness have to do with it. It was his brother. He didn't want to send his brother to jail. The colour of his skin has nothing whatever to do with it.

"Tina flew too close to the floor, and hit her face on it."

I didn't care for season 4 much at all, but I really enjoyed this. Promising start to the new season. It was a new direction but it was like having the old Archer back.
