It grossed ~$69 mill overseas on its first weekend. Could  word of mouth give it a good 2nd weekend here?

"The dialogue makes me cringe".  That's what I said about Star Wars in 1977 or wheneverthefuck it came out.

fuck's sake, the framing story lasts like 20 minutes at the start. Or in any case it didn't seem that long to me.  It's not half the movie, like some seem to be making it out to be.   And the bits with Carter and Civil War Walter White were funny.

"
It was an full of old cliches  and obvious plotting which contrasted with the high tech images. "

I love them both.

But there wasn't much of that before DSOTM….other than say, "Free Four", which encapsulates all of DSOTM and The Wall in three-four minutes.  And 'Nile Song' anticipated punk.

Dude…there's this thing called ripping…check it out.

Disagree only in the case of 'Tales' and "Relayer'…there, the rough drafts are really interesting, as befits the albums.

Definitely 'heard of" it, cap'n.  But I definitely don't associate it with 'plodding' or 'coma'. Maybe you were taking the wrong acid.
