The "First Day Of College" episode was the episode that solidified that Rory was a goddamned drip. ABSOLUTELY, anybody involved in the Lorelai-ing to college would have ostracized Rory. Still, I liked Lorelei in this. She just didn't get she was fucking her daughter…and the show made it where Rory somehow won…

Agreed. There is no excuse for the first part of S02……But his story is what they showed…and it was fucking terrible. This was an issue and a half in the books. I am SURE AMC made them have this one shitty location, because it was cheap….but the stories still could have been better.
