I actually don't like her either. If she had to console me, I'd tell her to shut up….But the show wants you to believe she's awesome and strong. I swear I didn't recognize her from Attack The Block, and I thought she was great in that. In the "Beth and Mark Saga" I find her to be the douche.

I did indeed. I watched that not because of Loki or House…..but because Olivia Colman was in it. There was a scene in S02 of this where she's talking to her son and she keeps a brave face, and the second he's not looking her face, with almost no movement becomes devastated and destroyed. I'd watch her in anything.

I guess I missed that in this ep. I didn't enjoy it much from a story perspective. The forensic aspect was interesting, but the suspect roll call was tedious. I might have phased out during parts of the dialogue….anyway good they pointed an arrow at the idea.

While I agree that they are spinning their wheels through this whole case…. I ultimately don't care….(especially since the obvious perpetrator chews up any of his scenes so much, and because they telegraphed the twist to those who have seen the other seasons)….I think the show's REAL point is about the repercussions…

He was banging Andrea in the books…I think he thought of Andrea as a daughter in the show. Jacquie was her own woman. Though I agree, no one even seemed to make a play to save her. One could say though, that she might have been right. Only Rick, Carl and Carol live from that time. Shit loads have died terribly…

He doesn't rub his head as much, these days. He's learning….Slow, like Clooney did, but he's learning.

To be fair: Much of the plot, which I find inane in the books too, is from the books. Not all of it, but much of it. In the end, WhatsHisFuck doesn't really have any love for zombie stuff, and his interpersonal stuff sucks. He's good at making characters and good at making set pieces.

No movie or episode of tv is EVER gonna be universally liked. Odin knows I've naysayed plenty of pictures that others raved about……But, yes, I think the pilot of this show(which I've since stopped watching) was an absolutely exceptional bit of tv.

I agree, on another note, that Hardy considers Miller at least ALMOST an equal. And Miller just won't take Hardy's shit. I could watch those two rap in a car driving around for 42 minutes without a case any time.

This episode seemed all about spinning it's wheels to me. The third ep, I can see that. This ep no. My least favourite. It moved the ball forward on Mark's journey, which is my fave of this….Olivia Colman continues to do so much with small facial work. She is an awesome actress.
