NO! TO THE DEAAATH!
NO! TO THE DEAAATH!
Moffat didn't write that part. RTD famously rewrote most of the episodes in his run, to the point where The Satan Pit probably should have had his name on the credits. Moffat doesn't at all.
And the multiple contradictions — if there apparently isn't any background detail on the episode's villains, then why is there a quote detailing exactly that later in the same paragraph? How can Frankes have done a good job directing this episode if, as Sims earlier argued, the flashbacks are visually confused?
Except her own stunts, which was a nice touch.
I'm going to shove a capsule review here since I don't want to clutter up the ratings thread. Largely, I thought this was a very entertaining hour of television, but here are a few feelings I had on the episode.
B+ .
From what I'm hearing, TV Club Classic's time has come. I doubt we'll ever see Felicity — they notably never bothered finishing Alias — and with TV CC being phased out and all…
He was there a few weeks ago as well, Todd just didn't notice.
You're recommending 'The Army Of Death'? I dunno. I love 'The Silver Turk', and 'The Witch From The Well' is okay, but the only appealing quality of TAoD is that it gave me the licence to shout 'I AM THE BONE LOOORRRRD!' while washing the dishes.

I admit I've only seen Creature From The Black Lagoon once, and I was well intoxicated at the time, but I thought it was an homage to that? Particularly those shots of the hands grabbing the guy's leg.
That or Miley's a rip-off merchant.
Yeah, that's Ellie Kendrick. You might also recognise her as Alison from 'Being Human' (the UK version).
I wonder if he's the one on the jumper.
I think they said somewhere that this was only intended to be a season long anyway. Perhaps covering their arses, but at least this will have an ending.
Thankfully it hasn’t gotten worse—quite the opposite in fact—and it’s certainly fair to give O’Bannon and fellow executive producer Ben Edlund credit for helping right the ship.
The episode didn't land one way or the other on his ability to heal others. Dr Horne suggested it was a possibility, but his idea of scientific study is to cut open his only unique specimen and use his own soldiers as guinea pigs.
I checked out the press releases for this season and
She's so not dead. I hope.
