Though they are not the best episodes of the series, there are several I really like from season 8. "Let Them Eat Junk" has a great Roseanne-Jackie conflict with a really bittersweet resolution. "White Sheep of the Family" and "Becky Howser M.D." are both great examinations of Darlene and Becky's divergent paths and…
Also, he was in Argo, Flight, and ParaNorman, so he's gonna be at a lot of awards shows this year.
Oh my God, my friends too. One of them was like, "John Goodman, is he still around?" and I said "Bite your tongue! John Goodman is a treasure!" Like, really aggressively. People were uncomfortable.
I think what's great about his performance in those episodes is his ability be both goofy and dead serious at literally the same time. I'm thinking of when he comes back with the chicken and Roseanne darts into the kitchen to ask what happened. They kind of crack jokes about the fact that he just beat somebody down.…
I said this below, but not anymore. Each episode is its own video now.
I think Roseanne was terrific on the show. The first half-season or so is shaky, but she got better and better. And her delivery was the best part. Off the top of my head: DJ says, "Dad said yes and he outranks you." Roseanne answers: "ARE YOU NEW?"
Roseanne, eating a fudgesicle: "This must be how we got FAT."
One correction: ALL episodes are on Youtube, and they, unlike the episodes from the DVDs and syndication, are uncut. Also, the episodes used to be split into 3 parts, but some good samaritan recently edited them together.
Didn't she write like, a how-to dating book while she was dating him? With little interjections from him? And by the time it came out he had dumped her? I remember reading that in some article, the focus of which was "Why is she always so sad?"
My sister and my mom go to see these generic romcoms all the time and they always have the same thing to say afterwards: "It was cute."

Criss won me over in the St. Patrick's Day episode, when Liz is awkwardly trying to make her declaration of love. First when he prods her on by saying, "You're almost there, Buddy," and then when he responds with "I know." It was just so sweet and Liz-compatible.

The only thing that ending made me feel right about was having hated Lindsay Weir from the start.
