You must not be on Goodreads, then. The ad for this movie has been dominating the home page for weeks. No matter how many times I refresh, it won't go away. The still image of Matthew Fox is so upsetting.

Didn't Stipe date (or "date") Natalie Merchant in the early 90s?

That was exactly what I was thinking of. Stupid Julia Roberts movie can't pull the trigger and actually kill the kid. Breaking Bad'll do it, man.

Have you seen the one from the 30s with Fredric March? Because that one is actually my favorite.

We're sure it was blood then? I went back and forth between blood and shit. Not sure which I would prefer.

@avclub-ea93d61158b479315c8e0d4cd003ec35:disqus I agree with @avclub-83de02c3cfc3634de1279cbc17a8fbae:disqus that most of those loose ends don't really matter in the greater scheme of the show, but the First People thing was resolved. They didn't exist; Walter sent all of that documentation plus the machine back in

I loved Lost, but the thing I think Fringe offers is this small group of characters with these intimate ties to each other that are complicated and emotional and incredibly fun to watch. Lost may have had more structured plotting, but its characters were always kind of puppets.

I always assumed she was just there to pick up some of the investigative / narrative slack for Olivia while she recuperated. Once Olivia was back on her game, Jessup became redundant and disappeared. I figured that was what she was meant to do, and it didn't bother me because she wasn't that interesting.

It really wasn't that bad at all. I just rewatched the 1st season, too. The pilot is actually kick-ass with maybe Josh Jackson being the worst thing about it. (Boy, was I happy when they stopped pretending he was a tough guy. "Sweetheart." Geez.)

I wouldn't jump as far ahead as "Bad Dreams." "Mr. Jones" through "Ability" are well-worth watching, with "The No-Brainer" probably being the most skippable.
