The Modern Family plotline was actually a huge wasted opportunity, I think. Maybe they would have done more with it if they'd had David Cross for more episodes. In general, though, MF is such a low-stakes show, there was really no point to any of it.

I definitely saw Jared Harris. I think he should just be in every movie. John Hawkes, too.

My parents live in Michigan. Every time I drive up there to visit one of the first things I see is a billboard: "Obama supports abortion and gay marriage. DO YOU?" And I always, always yell at it. "I sure as shit do you stupid billboard!"

It was a reverse situation for me. I had never seen any of the movies where he plays a tough, but I HAD seen The Age of Innocence where he's a soft-spoken fop. So There Will Be Blood was kind of mind-blowing. So then I went on kind of a Daniel Day Lewis trip and saw In the Name of the Father, Gangs of New York, etc.

Could the McCallister sisters stand back to back? I'm short on bullets.

No, it's Frajer. I should know. I'm Frajer.

That's what I want to know: if I can make it through this entire movie without taking a vomit break. I like the Bourne series a lot, but 2 and 3 were lost causes for me. I'm sure the shaky-cam is very hip and gritty, but I cannot personally withstand it.

That reminds me of an episode of Scrubs where J.D. watches The Fugitive and sees Neil Flynn (who played Janitor) in a small role as a cop. Instead of having it be a universe-cracking event, it's just a humanizing moment for Janitor, who admits he once tried to be an actor.
