I know the Matt Weiner secrecy machine works very hard, but could this show really shock us with a character death in this day and age? I mean, without the entertainment blogs letting us know whose contract is up, etc. etc.?

They tried to turn the conversation over to more available ladies. Ken said something about how if the guy liked redheads he could arrange something (and of course SCDP does that all the time, including two (?) weeks ago with the original Jaguar guy) and the guy said pretty determinedly that Joan was the redhead he

Here's the thing about Pete: if the Jaguar guy had been hot for Pete instead of Joan, Pete would have led him to a back room and closed the deal THAT MINUTE without thinking twice. And later he would have bragged about it at the conference table and wondered why no one was congratulating him. I think he literally

Do NOT talk shit about Ian Gomez. He is adorable.

What was great about Busy in the Hawaii episodes was she wasn't wearing any makeup, or maybe limited makeup. And she's usually got such a paint mask on.

Did nobody get that it was on purpose? It was on purpose.

It was for that movie Rock of Ages. Baldwin is in it.

WE'D all rather pretend The Office wasn't part of the lineup.

I know, right?

I hope Jon Hamm continued to not apologize for insulting her while they were backstage together.

Also in the first season, a character whose fiance betrayed her and then died.

I thought the fact that Broyles wasn't actually a shapeshifter was a pretty good twist. Also, points for the fact that they didn't invent a sick son out of nowhere, but established that he was sick over a year ago.

Yeah, I LOVE Fringe, but it has never been subtle.

Hulu Plus has gone over to the next day model, after spending the first half of this season on the 8-day model. The 8 bucks a month is worth it to me (they also recently opened up the entire series of Community for streaming).

Some shows have to just throw a patch on at the end because of cancellation. Also, I can

Charlie-as-shapeshifter had to switch bodies, but I feel like the show pulled back from that. Early on in season 3, there was that 'shifter who had been in the same body for years and grown attached to the guy's wife and kid. Newton wanted him to shift into a new body to break into Massive Dynamic (I think?) and he

Fauxlivia made some reference to being single earlier in the season; can't remember which episode. (Can't watch again because Hulu only streams five episodes at a time…)
