As a follower of both Treme and this show, I was very surprised to see Sonny from Treme (Michiel Huisman) show up here as the producer she is wooing.  I'm glad he got a new gig already, but he might have picked the wrong show, judging by the comments here.

I can't believe this is the only reference to Sonny Landreth - he is one of the best guitarists alive and I was hoping this would expose him to the world outside of south Louisiana, but apparently I was wrong.  Bummer…

Regarding Trouble the Water - for the record, Tia Lessin and Carl Deal made the footage into a documentary.  The folks who actually filmed it - and the people Delmond runs into - are Scott and Kimberly Rivers Roberts.

OK, I know I'm revealing my age here, but I will watch Aidan Quinn do anything ever since I saw him in Desperately Seeking Susan. If you are a fan and have not seen it, I highly recommend both it and The Playboys.  Although dated, they do show him off nicely.
